Molly Tentarelli

With over 18 years of experience in early childhood education and dance instruction, Molly has dedicated her career to fostering creativity, movement, and self-expression in young children. Prior to Tiny Dance Life, creator Molly Tentarelli had been teaching Preschool for 15 years. She began her formal ballet training at Portland Metro Arts Center under the direction of Nancy Yeamans. She continued her dance training throughout High School and was a member of Modern Dance Lab at Jefferson High School under the Direction of Melissa St. Clair. Molly has also studied Hip Hop and was a Company Member with Urban Shock and Portland Dance Project under the direction of Durante Lambert for over 10 years. Her professional resume includes opening for Snoop Dogg and Fabulous as a Jammin’ 95.5 dancer and performing at several Nike events.

As a background vocalist, Molly has performed at Jazz Festivals around the world including Umbrea Jazz Festival (Italy), Jazz Karr (Estonia), Java Jazz Festival (Indonesia), BolSoul (Croatia) and many more. Molly released her solo debut album on Atlanta/Ropeadope Records in 2018. Her newest EP entitled “Release Me” is out now and available on all streaming platforms!

In addition to teaching dance for Tiny Dance Life, for the past three years, Molly has taught Pre Ballet and Creative Movement at Oregon Ballet Theatre. Her deep understanding of child development, combined with her passion for the arts, continues to inspire young dancers. She is also a substitute teacher with the Oregon Ballet Theatre ECE Albina Head Start Program a permanent substitute Preschool Teacher for the Early Learning Academy at KairosPDX.

An experienced dance instructor with a lifelong passion for movement, Xanta is dedicated to sharing the joy of dance with students of all ages. With a strong foundation in dance since age 5 and a degree in Humanities from Sonoma State, she brings over 10 years of experience teaching children and young adults, including her time at SPACE - School of Performing Arts and Cultural Education in California. Xanta believes dance is for everyone and loves empowering people of all ages to discover its many benefits.”
